Undeniably, the visions captured through the eyes of Artist Kyle Bailey, in photograph or in film, leave no question of their rightful classification. Forged In the east coast of the bubbling digital age of New York City, Bailey’s gift to frame the raw, undetected beauty in every scene, every shot has elevated his status as one of New york Cities top music video directors. Kyle directs Art, Kyle creates genius, Kyle produces urban Avante garde. Born and raised in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, New york, Kyle’s work exemplifies the beautiful contradictions of the Urban New york area. “In a 10 minute span you can go from getting your head blown off to sitting in one of the most creative places in the world,” recalls Bailey. Somewhere between the rough streets of brooklyn, the brutal police and peaceful artist, the relic memories of the post crack epidemic in the 80′s/90′s and poverty of the outer boroughs of NYC and the perceived artistic renaissance of Tribeca, Kyle stands fearlessly and creatively with his soul on display.


In 2008, With a camera purchased by his late-deceased grandmother, Kyle got his first taste of Music video shooting local rappers and amateur models. With only the information gleaned from the internet, Kyle ventured out and began filming some of New york’s roughest areas, connecting with and discovering the true character of the neighborhoods and their people. He began to gain notoriety by bringing the professional ethics of big budget music video productions to the brands of up and coming independent musical artist in the Tri-State area at affordable prices. Honing his skills as a Producer/Director better prepared Bailey for the next step in his career.” I love Art, Its the Only craft to me where a universal language exist that people of all classes, races, and religions can comprehend” Kyle remembers.” Producing taught me business etiquette and how to connect creativity at the same time, and Direction taught me how to guide and bring out the artistic side in other people besides myself”

In the summer of 2009, With a production team consisting of some of the most talented film students from SVA (School of Visual Arts), Kyle Bailey at the young age of 19, produced and directed his first big budget music video for local rap phenomenon, Breeze and Sp- Lets Be friends(BBM song). The music video became tagged Blackberries official Blackberry messenger song, premiered on MTV Music Choice on Demand, MTV Jams, BET, Crackberry.net, Thisis50.com and Ralph Mcdaniels Rap channel “VideoMusicBox” channel 25. This catapulted Baileys career onto a higher echelon and gained him more notoriety in the Tri-state Music industry. “we finally shot something that looked amazing and i was impressed by my own skills for crafting this music video project together” Kyle recalls. ” My ex girlfriend cheated and left me at the time and i was in a financial strut when god blessed me with this breakthrough video”.

Bailey and his production team produced another music video hit for another local rap group by the name of Futuristic Lingo, The music video for their song “Its Natural” Went viral instantly on youtube and garnered the music video placement on French TV and Sway’s Rap show-MTV Rapfix. “This is When i knew i had what it takes” The accolades just began to rise from then on for Bailey, being interviewed by DTF radio and being Featured in Hip Hop’s historic Source Magazine twice for music videos he produced/directed for Artist Fresh Unlimited and Ill-O Da Great, Kyle Bailey is determined to work harder and smart to achieve more visually propelled works of art.

In 2011, Now at the age 21 with more knowledge and networks within the industry, With Over 50 Producer Credits and 30 Director credits & counting Mr. Bailey is aiming towards higher achievements he says. In Kyle Bailey’s role as a producer and director, kyle is committed to “coloring outside the lines” to create fresh, innovative content that incorporates the best and most advanced technologies in support for projects. He is equally attuned to delivering projects on time.His sense of humility, his kindness and his passion for the art he strives to master exude through every word. “I feel if you’re a filmmaker, you have a special gift, a very rare privilege to make people think and to touch people. It’s a special thing. If you’re a painter, a vocalist, or if you play an instrument, God’s given you this talent to touch people. I feel there’s a responsibility there.”

Although the cosmetics of his life have changed, Bailey remains grounded and humble. The memory of his grand mother, the struggles of his mother, the love of his little brother, the support of his friends and New york won’t let him be otherwise.
